Happy Halloween!!

We have had a fun-filled weekend! It started with Friday night, we went to one of the faculty members from Scott's schools house. They had a dinner for all the residents, families and faculty from the Pediatric Dentistry Program. Their house was GORGEOUS!!! It was an older home with so much character, it had a huge back porch and a guest house in back...it kind of made me excited for when Scott is done :) Anyway, Friday was a fun night of socializing and EATING! The kids had a blast playing with all of the other kids and it was fun to meet some of the other people that Scott works with. Maryn and Leah
Jackson and Ryan dressed the same...Darth Vader.

Saturday the kids had a Trunk-or-Treat at their school. They loved seeing all of their buddies dressed up!!

Some of the cars were decorated so cute!! This was one of my favorites, the pics don't do it justice!

This is the director of the preschool and she just LOVES leah...leah always plays games with her and refuses to talk to her, she just smiles at her :)

This was a spooky guy who was scaring the kids, Jackson just loved him and refused to let him get in the way of his candy!
Leah was a little more intimidated
Jackson and his teacher Mrs. Neugabauer...he loves her and so do we!!
Minnie Mouse
Today we decided to tackle all the leaves in the yard. Man was that a project!!
The kids "helping"
Leah discovered the fun of jumping in the leaves early in our project
Then Daddy had to play, too. Love Jackson's face here
Just chillin

"It Feels Like I'm Falling for Fall...."

I love Fall!! The weather is beautiful right now in Memphis! This morning Jackson and I made Caramel apples...yes, I said MORNING. It has fruit in it, so I thought it was ok :) A Dentist's nightmare right here....
Jackson wanted his with Apple Jacks on it, I thought it was clever.
Our creation

Leah and her buddy Maryn at Jackson's soccer game

Conehead Leah
This is what the sidelines look like at the boys game...they totally pay attention to the game....while covering themselves in dirt :)
Go Eagles!!! Jackson scored two goals again yesterday!! He's such a stud!
Ryan, Maryn, Leah and Jackson inspecting the ants on a tree post-game. Ryan and Maryn are siblings and are the same age as our kids, they play together great!! Ryan's dad Jeff is in Residency with Scott and his wife Rochelle was a labor and delivery nurse!! Ironic, huh?
We went to one of Scott's friends, Beth, house last night for a get together to carve pumpkins and watch football with a group from their school. It was alot of fun!! Lots of yummy food!! This is Leah and her new boyfriend, Mason.
Carving away
Leah and Mason torturing the dog by throwing leaves on her...she loved the kids
After the kids exhausted her, Beth had to BRING THE FOOD to her on her bed, when she was done she flipped her bowl off the bed. So cute, we thought we spoiled our dogs :)
Leah coloring her pumpkin
Jackson overseeing Beth with lighting his pumpkin
Jackson's new best friend, Josh...he's the husband to another resident Sarah. Jackson loved him!! He played Leapster with him all night :) Josh carved a Razorback in his pumpkin and Jackson thought it was a fish...it's ok Josh
Would you trust Dr. Sarah to work on your kid after seeing this pic??? Hahaha
Leah helping seperate the pumpkin seeds with Beth
Jackson making sure Sarah is carving her "Bat Pumpkin" just right

Emily's "Romantic Pumpkin"...it was supposed to be a vampire biting her, but the tooth fell out!! Now it just looks...well, you can see :)
My pumpkin, it's blurry, but it's Patrick from Sponge Bob

The Great Outdoors

Jackson's birthday was on October 6th and instead of having a big party he wanted to go camping instead. We ended up going to Missouri and meeting up with my sisters and my grandma and grandpa Dossey. The last time they saw the kids, Leah wasn't even 3 weeks old and Jackson was 21months. We were so appreciative that my grandparents drove the 5 hours to meet us and celebrate Jackson's birthday. They LOVED seeing my grandparents. Leah especially loved Grandpa. She just wanted to hold his hand the whole trip. She told me, "I love Grandpa Dossey so much but 'Eye Spy' is too hard for him." It was a wonderful trip and very relaxing. Jackson with his new pet frogs for his birthday, he named them Patrick (from Sponge Bob Square Pants) and George (from Curious George).

Love this pic...Leah and Grandpa
Notice Raisin on her tummy in the background??? She is such a weirdo, anytime Scott would raise his voice she would drop in the middle of the street to her belly, even if he was just talking to us.
Beautiful scenery

Raisin's first time in the water and she loved it! Here she is chasing a shoe Scott threw in the water. She is definitely a water dog!!

Megan running from a bee!! Hilarious!
Aunt Nj helped the kids pick out walking sticks! They had to use them the whole trip even if they were walking 2 feet outside.
The "Bestest Nj" as Jackson calls her.

Carley Girls and adopted sister Mel!

I love this silly dog, so glad we found her! She loves to lay on her back for us to rub her belly when we get home from work!
